Sara’s coffee corner

“Sometimes life is merely a matter of coffee and whatever intimacy a cup of coffee affords.” —Richard Brautigan

There’s nothing I love more than a cup of coffee. (No thing, that is; there are people and places and experiences that share the designation, among them drinking a cup of coffee, alone, with a loved one, in a park, in a crowded cafe.)

Somewhere along the line, around age 14, coffee got linked to connection for me—a kind of bridge to friendship, love, the outer world—and despite all the things (every thing?) that have changed over the course of my life, my fondness for a cup of hot black coffee has never deserted me.

Meet me here for a cup most Tuesdays.
